Center for Language Studies Facilities
The Beloit campus creates an ideal environment for a language immersion program. Students interact primarily with others studying the same language in the classroom, residence hall, and dining hall. Center for Language Studies students are housed by language group in Wood Hall and Haven Hall, superb, air-conditioned residence halls. A fiber-optic network connects every classroom and every student room to the internet.
The Colonel Robert H. Morse College Library provides, a quiet and comfortable place for students to study. It features large open study areas, smaller very-quiet areas, and group study rooms. High-tech computer workstations allow students to scan materials for presentations and work with top shelf productivity software. The library also features a collection numbering more than a quarter of a million books, periodicals (including those in foreign languages), and government documents.
The College Sports Center offers a variety of recreational opportunities including a swimming pool, three full-size basketball courts, handball/racquetball courts, a fitness center, and an all-purpose indoor recreational surface for tennis, volleyball, soccer, and the like.
