  Pre-Arrival & Orientation Information » Mail Information

CLS participants will receive mailbox assignments and combinations by e-mail prior to the beginning of the program. This information will also be distributed to participants during orientation. Beloit College Students/Faculty in the CLS program will use the post office box assigned to them during the academic school year.In order to assure that your mail is delivered promptly, we ask that you notify your correspondents of the proper mailing procedures:
-
All letter mail, packages, trunks, bicycles, and luggage shipped to you at the College must show your Beloit College box number.
-
Do not use a Post Office Box number. Doing so will result in a delay in delivery and often causes mail to be returned to the sender by the local post office.

The proper address format is:
(Your name)
Beloit College Box _____ (your box #)
Center for Language Studies (CLS)
700 College Street
Beloit, WI 53511

All mail, packages, and parcels are delivered to our campus Mail Center and must show your Beloit College Box Number to insure prompt delivery. There is no mail or package service to the residence halls. There is also no Saturday or Sunday mail delivery to Beloit College.

Mail Center Hours are:

Service Window—Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Lobby Only--Daily & Weekends, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The mail center will place a “Package Slip” in your mailbox when large items or parcels have arrived for you. You MUST present your package slip and your I.D. card at the service counter to claim your package.

When addressing campus mail always write the person’s full name and box number on the item. A directory of CLS students will be distributed at the beginning of the program to all of the participants. If you have any questions regarding mailing services, feel free to inquire at the counter, or call us at extension 2232.
