"CLS is not only a fun, interesting, and highly reputable language program, but it is also a great way to create connections between students from different states and backgrounds.  I participated in the First-Year Chinese program last summer where my whole class was a mix of students from various age groups and backgrounds. 

The students are not there because they have to be, but they want to change the world and know that participating in this program will open up doors for any opportunity they choose to pursue.  Every day was full of laughter, culture, and, of course, language.  The teachers are always there to answer questions about language and culture, and also bring in their own experiences. Although the eight-week program was intense, every minute of my time in CLS was wonderful and exciting."
